This legal protection insurance provides cover for criminal prosecution, civil defence, misconduct and unsatisfactory performance, inquest representation cover and Section 88 Enforcement cover. Indemnity applies where the claim is notified during the period of insurance. Providing the member pays their membership and insures that the reactive insurance is paid during their last year of service, the cover continues after retirement.
